Right down to the stubborn british **** bit. Besides, I have got it set up just the way I like it now, and, being a stubborn british b***ard, I don't like change. It is the most widely used client so there is virtually guaranteed to be support for it anywhere. Bogglesteinsky Apr 15 2004, 12:39 AM) I haven't changed because I am used to mIRC. Also, it has easy to install plugins if you do want any extra features.
Far more features, and those mIRC exploits don't touch it, obviously. Vanilla mIRC put up against vanilla Klient, Klient wipes the floor with it. Well, if you don't want it to do anything fancy, haven't you thought about changing clients. īut it is absolutely perfect for the average IRC nub (like me) who just wants to use a well supported client and script, and who doesn't want to do anything fancy. Bogglesteinsky Apr 15 2004, 12:13 AM) If you use NNScript, you can setup the networks to join in the "Auto-Connect" table. īut i will whole heartedly suggest that you never use that piece of crap. It's full of useful things, it's got a great layout and the most powerful scripting abilities in any IRC client.
I will DEFINATELY recommend you try out Klient. Find a good IRC client, and not only will it be easier to use and look at, you won't have to deal with the fact that all these mediocre scripts run on outdated mIRC versions. Using such a bloated, worthless, script like that is absolutely useless. I'm sorry, i used to write scripts, hell, i spent the best part of a year writing and developing an mIRC script, and for what.
